A Debt to Pay

The prisoner did admit that these two prisoners had raped him and that during the ordeal had suffered a beating.
The prisoner then told security that while he was in the unit had amounted a debt, cigarettes and money, a debt he couldn’t pay off.
He stated that the debt was mounting each week and that the only way to pay it off was to let these two prisoners have sex with him.

Dave.

It was going well until I asked Dave if his parents were still alive, and Dave replied, Yes Mum is still going strong, but my Father is dead, I killed him with a hammer.

The Stabbing

The shouting started, a fight broke out, Blurton then picked up a heavy metal chair and swung it at Narrier’s face breaking Narrier’s jaw, but Narrier had a pair of hair trimming scissors tucked in his tracksuit bottoms and slashed Blurton cutting his pinkie near off. Narrier then plunged the scissor blade into Blurton’s leg.

Urine Testing

When prisoners get wind that there will be urine testing, they will drink copious amounts of water after taking drugs to dilute their systems, if we see clear water during the test is an instant failure, they could face charges for dilution.

The Domers

I worked with many prisoners with mental health issues and some that needed more than just a couple of Panadol, they needed special attention, and this is where I first heard of the depot anti psychotic shot for schizophrenia.

The Lolly Trolley

Prisoners take their drugs, they then run back to their cells and regurgitate them back up. They dry them off and either sell them on or mix them into their tobacco undetected. Some have to sell for protection.  

Blood Contamination

I remember after the prisoner headbutted me I could taste something in my mouth and my left eye was blurred, it wasn’t my blood in my mouth or in my eye, it was his.

Hitchcroft & Janali

I offered Hitchcroft to take a seat outside the cell and observe the cell search, he stated “fill your boots mate.”
The victims medical records clearly showed the injuries that Janali had inflicted on him. Evidence from the case depicting diamond shapes and the word TAMP on the victims back.

Searches

Trafficking is big in prisons where prisoners will move drugs, syringes, tobacco, and any other forms of contraband from unit to unit…. it’s like a game of cat and mouse.

Buster

The officer noticed the dog looking left and right, but the dog never moved from the seated position. That’s when the officer thought that the prisoner had done a runner, and he had, he was gone.
